On one foam core board, draw out a heart shape. Measure in approximately 3” and draw the heart outline to create a heart with a cut-out in the middle. NOTE: You can draw your heart on old newspaper or large scrap paper if you wish and then trace it onto the foam core board.
Cut out the heart including the center with the X-acto knife. Take this heart and trace the design onto the other foam core board and cut out. Leave the second heart on the side.
Attach the Deco Mesh to the foam core heart shape by gather a bunch up and tying it to the heart with chenille stems. Twist the chenille stems closed on the top of the wreath for now. Keep bunching up and attaching to the heart about every 3-4 inches or as you desire, depending on how full you want your wreath. Cover the heart completely. Cut off excess Deco Mesh and tuck in the ends.
Now add the Deco Flex Tubing between the Deco Mesh gathers. Make about three loops with the Deco Flex Tubing. Cinch and attach to the wreath with the existing chenille stem. Add Deco Flex Tubing to all the gathers around the heart, cut off the excess tubing. Wrap the ends of the chenille stem to the back of the heart.
Place the second heart behind the decorated heart. Glue the two together to hide the chenille stems. Use a chenille stem to create a hanger for the wreath.
uggestion: Cover both of the hearts with Deco Mesh and Deco Flex Tubing to have a two-sided wreath.
