Egg Album

SUPPLIES:

8.5 x 11 cardstock for egg (album cover)
4  -  8.5 x 11 light or bright colored cardstock for pages
24 of satin ribbon for tie closure
Tacky glue
Scraps of cardstock for decorations
Paper punches
Assorted rubberstamps & inkpads

Note: Other embellishments such as stickers, Memory Mates
Can be used to decorate your album and pages.

DIRECTIONS:  

Trace and cut out 2 Egg shape covers from cardstock according to the pattern. Fold in half and crease well. Set aside.

Trace and cut out Egg Pages from cardstock according to the pattern. Fold in half and crease well. Decorate the inside fold of the pages as desired with rubberstamps, etc.

Stack 4 folded egg pages together, back-to-back, with the folds facing in. Glue pages together. Repeat with the other 4 egg pages.

Fold egg cover in half. Center and place one stack of pages onto the folded egg cover. Glue pages to the cover.

Open up egg cover so it is flat. Center and position the other stack of pages onto the cover next to the first set of pages. Glue in place. 

Center and position the other egg cover onto the folded pages. Glue in place. Pages should fold open between covers on either side.

Center and place ribbon across one egg cover, leaving the loose ends on the sides. Glue in place. This is the backside of the album. Flip album over and decorate the front of the album with cutouts from cardstock scraps, stickers and/or rubberstamping. Gather ribbon ends and tie together to keep album closed.
