Directions for the Card

Using paper trimmer, cut a piece of maroon cardstock to measure 5" x 11". Fold in half and score to create a card that measures 5" square. Using border punch, punch along edge of one flap opposite of fold.

Cut a strip of sage cardstock to measure 5" x 1". Using photo stickers, adhere to punched edge even with back flap of card.

Cut a piece of tan cardstock to measure 5" x 4". Lightly chalk around outer edge of piece using sage Decorator's Chalk. Adhere this piece to center of punched flap of card.

Using ShapeCutter with Christmas ShapeTemplate and craft mat, cut two holly leaves from sage cardstock and three holly berries from maroon. Using photo stickers, adhere pieces to center of tan cardstock piece on front flap of card. Lightly chalk veins onto leaves using white chalk. Chalk highlight onto each berry using white chalk.

Ink rubber stamp with green ink and stamp "Merry Christmas" just below holly spray.

Directions for the Tag

Using ShapeCutter with Tags ShapeTemplate and craft mat, cut one large tag from each maroon and sage cardstock. Using border punch, punch across bottom edge of maroon tag. Using photo stickers, adhere maroon tag to top of sage tag.

Using paper trimmer, cut a piece of tan cardstock to measure 2" x 2". Lightly chalk around edges of this piece using sage chalk. Ink "To:" rubber stamp with green ink and stamp onto left edge of tan piece. Repeat with "From:" stamp just below the "To:". Using hand punch, punch one hole in each corner of tan cardstock piece. Adhere tan piece to center of maroon tag using photo stickers.

Using hand punch, punch 2 holes approximately " apart near top of tag. Apply eyelet to each hole. Flip piece over. Insert eyelet tool into eyelet and hammer two to three times, until eyelet back begins to curl over. Tap two to three times directly onto the eyelet to finish securing it.

Cut a piece of jute to measure approximately 12". Thread one end of jute through each hole from front to back. Pull almost until loop is taught against tag. Thread both ends of jute through loop and pull tight. Tie knot near ends of jute. Unravel ends and trim as desired.
