Directions for the Card
Using paper trimmer, cut a piece of maroon
cardstock to measure 5½"
x 11". Fold in half and score to create a card that measures 5½"
square. Using border punch, punch along edge of one flap opposite of
Cut a strip of sage cardstock to measure 5½"
x 1½". Using
photo stickers, adhere to punched edge even with back flap of card.
Cut a piece of tan cardstock to measure 5" x
chalk around outer edge of piece using sage Decorator's Chalk. Adhere
this piece to center of punched flap of card.
Using ShapeCutter with Christmas ShapeTemplate and craft mat, cut
two holly leaves from sage cardstock and three holly berries from
maroon. Using photo stickers, adhere pieces to center of tan cardstock
piece on front flap of card. Lightly chalk veins onto leaves using
white chalk. Chalk highlight onto each berry using white chalk.
Ink rubber stamp with green ink and stamp "Merry Christmas" just
below holly spray.
Directions for the Tag
Using ShapeCutter with Tags ShapeTemplate and craft mat, cut one
large tag from each maroon and sage cardstock. Using border punch,
punch across bottom edge of maroon tag. Using photo stickers, adhere
maroon tag to top of sage tag.
Using paper trimmer, cut a piece of tan
cardstock to measure 2½"
x 2½". Lightly
chalk around edges of this piece using sage chalk. Ink "To:" rubber
stamp with green ink and stamp onto left edge of tan piece. Repeat with
"From:" stamp just below the "To:". Using hand punch, punch one hole in
each corner of tan cardstock piece. Adhere tan piece to center of maroon
tag using photo stickers.
Using hand punch, punch 2 holes approximately
¼" apart near top
of tag. Apply eyelet to each hole. Flip piece over. Insert eyelet tool
into eyelet and hammer two to three times, until eyelet back begins to curl
over. Tap two to three times directly onto the eyelet to finish securing it.
Cut a piece of jute to measure approximately 12". Thread one end
of jute through each hole from front to back. Pull almost until loop
is taught against tag. Thread both ends of jute through loop and pull
tight. Tie knot near ends of jute. Unravel ends and trim as desired.
