Monogram Birthday Card

Supplies

 1)     Scrap of turquoise cardstock large enough

     to fit letter stencil

2)     Long Happy Birthday rubber stamp – Hero Arts

3)     Flower Paisley Background rubber stamp – Hero Arts

4)     Flower Paisley rubber stamp – Hero Arts

5)     Small Paisley Designs rubber stamp set – Hero Arts

6)     Jumbo Java ink pad – Versa Magic

7)     Galaxy Gold ink pad – Brilliance

8)     Mini flower brads, springtime – Making Memories

9)     4-1/2” length of 3/8” wide turquoise and brown decorative ribbon – Elements

10) 3-1/2” x 6” pink card blank

11) 5-5/8” x 2-1/8”light pink cardstock

12) Heiko tape

 

Tools

1)     1/8” hole punch

2)     Scissors

3)     3” monogram letter stencil

 

Procedure

1)     Using the brown ink, stamp the flower paisley background design randomly on the light pink cardstock.

2)     Cut out the monogram letter from the turquoise cardstock and stamp gold ink on it with the flower paisley stamp.

3)     With one of the small paisley stamps (from the set) decorate the pink card blank using the

     gold ink.

4)     Punch holes on the monogram letter and insert pink flower brads.

5)     Use the Heiko tape to adhere the letter to the stamped light pink cardstock.

6)     Attach the ribbon to the top and bottom of the light pink cardstock with Heiko tape.

7)     Cut off any excess ribbon and attach the decorated light pink cardstock to the card blank leaving a Ό” margin on the top, left side, and bottom.

8)     With the brown ink, stamp Happy Birthday all along the right side of the card.
