Directions

Use the Big Shot die cutting machine with the Pillow box die and cut out one pillow box from light brown cardstock. Use the double-stick tape to join the sides of the box together, leaving the top and bottom flaps open.

 

Trace and cut out the pieces from cardstock according to the patterns. Use the 1” circle punch and punch out two circles from the rust cardstock.

 

Fold the flaps in to close the pillow box. Align the top of the owl’s head piece with one of the closed flaps on the box and adhere to the box. Place the round rust eye pieces below and adhere. Place a white circle on top of each rust circle and adhere. Use the ” hole punch with the black cardstock and punch out two pieces. Place one each onto the white circles and adhere. Adhere the yellow beak at the bottom of the head piece point, between the eyes.

 

Align the tummy piece to the bottom edge and adhere.Align the branch piece along the bottom edge on top and adhere. Adhere leaves to the tips of the branches as in the sample shown.

 

Center the rust colored top wing onto the brown wings and adhere. Place a wing on each side of the owl’s body and adhere.

 

Open the flap at the top of the head and fill with treats. Close flap.
