Tools:

Sharp Scissors

Xacto Knife

Low Temp Glue gun & Glue sticks

Directions

Use the Xacto knife to cut the foam core board to a 15” x 20” piece.

Center the foam core board onto the batting. Pull the edges of the batting over and on top of the foam core board. Carefully glue the batting down around the edges of the board.

Place the fabric down with the wrong side facing up. With the batting side facing down, center and place the board onto the fabric. Pull the edges of the fabric over and on top of the board. Carefully glue the fabric down around the edges of the board.

Turn the board so the fabric is facing up. Lay the printed ribbon pieces across the board, spacing evenly. Tie the ribbon around the board and knot securely. Make sure that the ribbon is taut. Tie the ends of the ribbon into a bow. Trim the edges of the ribbon at an angle. Repeat for all of the printed ribbons until all of the ribbons are tied across the board.

Turn the board over and glue the ends of the 18” length of ribbon to the back of the board, about 4” from each side edge. This will be the hanger for the board.

Center the poster board over the back of the board. Glue down to finish the board.

Hang board up. Tuck cards, photos, notes and other lightweight memorabilia under the ribbons.
