Directions

  1. Cut a piece of white cardstock 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”. Fold in half to form a card.
  2. Place the front of the card face down on to the “Squares” Texture Plate. Using the bone folder texture from the card fold to about the center of the card.
  3. Place the card onto the “Waves” Texture plate so that the wavy lines are horizontal. Measure down 1 3/4” from the fold, using a stylus emboss a wavy line across the card. Skip a line and emboss another wavy line.
  4. Using the Razor knife or a small pair of scissors cut along the second wavy line.
  5. Cut a piece of red cardstock 5 3/4” x 5”.
  6. Place the cardstock onto the “Lines” Texture Plate matching the sides of the cardstock with the edges of the Texture Plate.
  7. Using a stylus, emboss each line all the way across the texture plate.
  8. Trim the red cardstock to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” ( the embossed lines should be vertical across the 5 1/2”)
  9. Open the textured white card, apply double sided tape to the inside front. Lay the red embossed cardstock (face up) so that in matches the inside back of the white card. Fold the front of the white card forward, this will adhere to the red and white cardstock together to create the card front.
  10. Cut a piece of gold paper 1 1/2” x 3 1/4”. Center onto card front and adhere into place
  11. Stamp “Season’s Greetings” onto white cardstock using gold pigment ink.
  12. Sprinkle with gold embossing powder. Tap off the excess and heat stamped design with a heat tool.
  13. Trim around the stamped design, center onto gold paper and adhere into place.
  14. Using the Shape Boss and the Christmas stencil, emboss two holly leaf and berry designs onto white cardstock. Chalk the leaves in green and the berries in red.
  15. Using the Razor knife, trim closely around each design and adhere to dark green cardstock.
  16. Trim the dark green cardstock to match. (see card example)
  17. Adhere the holly leaf designs to the card front as shown in the card example.
