Trace and cut out pieces from felt according to the patterns.
Thread the large eye needle with about 24” of crochet thread and double up thread and knot the loose ends. Take the large white felt circle and sew a running stitch evenly around about ¼” from the edge. Pull the thread together to create a drawstring effect and stuff the felt with the fiberfill until firm. Pull threads to close the hole and knot thread together to hold. Trim off excess thread. Take the smaller felt circle and place over the opening. Glue in place.
Turn the felt “ball” over to the front. Place the two eyes towards the center and glue in place. Take the orange chenille stem and curl into a small cone shape for a “carrot” nose. Glue the nose below the eyes. Use the ¼” hole punch to make five dots from the black foamie. Place the five dots in a half circle below the nose for a mouth. Glue in place.
Take the strip of red felt and tie into a loose circle for a scarf. Snip both ends for a fringe. Place the snowman’s head onto the scarf and glue in place.
For a hanger: Sew a short loop of crochet thread through the top of the head and knot the ends. Or, glue a small snowflake ornament behind the head with the hanger towards the top as shown in the sample.
