Staying close to the corner on one end, trace and cut out the circle piece from cardstock according to the pattern. You may also use a circle cutter, trace an old CD or use a circle die to create this hat brim piece. The circle is approximately
4 ¾” in diameter.
Use the Accu Cut die cutting machine to cut out one of the Box Pyramid dies. Crease all of the folds. Apply double stick tape to the outside of the square bottom, along all four edges. Apply double stick tape to the narrow tab along the triangular section with only one notch. Do not remove the tape’s protective backing yet.
Take the 1”x 3” cardstock and use the corner rounder to round each of the four corners. On this piece, stamp a message such as “Happy Halloween” or you can handwrite a message. If you are using this as a place setting favor, write in the person’s name. Slip this piece between the two notches.
Remove the protective film along the tab and join to the other section, creating the triangular box shape.

Remove the protective backing from the four pieces of tape on the bottom square. Center and place the triangle box onto the circle. Your hat is complete. Open the favor box to fill with treats. You can decorate the hat with ribbons, buttons, stickers and other embellishments.
