Directions

*Use the Hearty Color Scale to measure out the clay you need. Measure out 2 “I” balls of white Hearty Clay. Roll them into 1 large ball. This is the rat’s head. Insert the eraser end of the pencil about halfway through the head.

Measure out 2 “E” balls of white Hearty Clay. Mix a very small amount of red Hearty Clay into each ball of white clay to make it pink. Slightly flatten each ball of pink clay and press the round end of the Flower Shaping Tool to create and indentation. These will be the ears. Attach the ears on top of the head. Use a little bit of tacky glue if necessary.

Measure out 1 “A” ball of white Hearty Clay. Mix a very small amount of red clay into it to make it pink. This will be the nose. Attach the nose to the front center of the head. Use a little bit of tacky glue if necessary.

Press both of the black E-beads into the head above the nose. These will be the eyes. Use a little bit of tacky glue if necessary.

Attach 2 of the ” 26 gauge black wires into each side of the nose for the whiskers. Use a little bit of tacky glue if necessary.

Let the rat dry for at least a day.
